The Natchez Trace Stables (NTS) is located adjacent to the Natchez Trace Parkway near Canton, Mississippi. There are approximately 8 miles of trails on the NTS property itself ranging in difficulty from easy to challenging. Easy access to 23 miles of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trails - Ridgeland Segment.
This is a family oriented facility, no alcohol is permitted.
- Open 7 days a week, bring your horses
- Ride on our trails or on the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway Equine Trails
- Located just off Natchez Trace Parkway (horse trailers are allowed on the Parkway)
- Beautiful wooded, marked & well maintained trails (maps available upon request)
- Firewood available
- Dog friendly (should be kept on leash)
- To protect your horses, NTS requires current coggins
- Picnic tables
- Restrooms and showers
- 20 horse stalls available (subject to availability)
- Primitive & generator campers welcome (no hook-ups available at this time)
- Reservations for overnight camping required (check calendar for availability)
- Reservations for day rides are requested (check calendar for availability)

Natchez Trace Stables Trail Riding Club
The Natchez Trace Stables Trail Riding Club is a family oriented group of equine enthusiasts. Our goal is to provide fun, family-oriented trail rides in the central Mississippi area of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trails. Riders of all skill levels and ages welcome. NT Stables Trial Riding club strives to provide an environment for families to enjoy the outdoors and company of fellow riders.
- Yearly membership fee (see Annual Dues below)
- Stall Rental: $25/day (shavings included)
- Turnout Only $15/day (subject to availability)
- Ride any time
- Quarterly Cookouts
- Annual Meetings for club discussions on trail ideas & trail rides

Requirements
- Original or copy of an official negative test for Coggins administered within the previous 12 months for every horse
- Signed liability release (see below)
- Read Trail Etiquette (see below)
NT Stables Trail Riding Club Annual Dues
Annual memberships dues help defray the costs of quarterly cookouts, property trail maintenance and miscellaneous expenses.
Adults 18-64 - $75
Seniors 65+ - $70
Couples - $125
Children (10-17) ‡† - $50
Children (6-10) ‡† - Free
‡ Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult family member
† Members under 18 must have parents sign permission form
